Since the second semester started back in February I've been in Writing class, for the last five months and really enjoyed it! Everything I learnt in this class was fun and excitable, and I learnt a lot, although it was challenging at times. I really did enjoyed this class and it was one of my favorites of my second semester!
The most difficult type of writing I did this year was probably the pervasive writing i did last week. It was so hard for me because with that particular type of writing because I couldn't really pick a funny topic to do and write a lot on, so I had to pick a serious topic (and being serious is one of my strong points!). The writing I found the easiest this course had to be anything that I got to be creative on and really use my imagination. I found ones like that so easy because I have an over active imagination, probably from watching all the TV I watch like Buffy and Ugly Betty. The writing piece that I like the best is an extremely hard question because I really do like all my writing assignments because I'm proud and still a little astonished that I did all this. But if I do have to put down my favorite one I would have to say it is the pervasive essay Imma Adopt a Lil Asian Bebe !! :D I did last week, because I had to put a lot of research and time into it to make sure I did a good job on it. Link http://blackvillewriting80.blogspot.com/2010/06/imma-adopt-lil-asian-bebe-d.html. I had a chance to go redo any of my assignment I would go back and redo is The Christmas Story !!! :D. I would redo this because I think I did a pretty poor job on it because I was in a rush to do it and just did it for the hell of it. Link http://blackvillewriting80.blogspot.com/2010/04/christmas-story-d.html .
I have must of peer evaluated like 60 different times!!!!!! I found thought of it as kind of a nascence at first but then when I could use the notes from them to better my work, I realized that they actually did help. So after I realized they helped I didn't mind doing them. Back in my writing inventory I stated that my weakness was that I have very poor spelling and punctuations skills, but now I do believe that I have gotten better at this, because when ever I got marked they would always comment on my spelling and punctuation, so it made want to strive to get a mark back that said there were no errors of that sort! I don't think that ever happened, but I have improved outstandingly so its all good!
The three most enjoyable activities I did were the one minute video, the how to video and Young Lads Adventure! I enjoyed these one soo much because I got to use my imagination and had free range to do what ever I wanted! The three least enjoyable things I did were The Pigs that Pushed Their Sibling out the Window!, The three Grammar Writing Exercises and The Christmas Story. I didn't enjoy these activities because two of them had to do with spelling and grammar (one of my weak points), and the other one I didn't really pay attention to.
Ive been taking this course since second semester and have really enjoyed. Whether it be from writing articles, making videos or just because I am able to let my imagination run wild! So I would like to thank Mr. Carter for having this class and thank him for the skills I will be taking away from this, that I will keep and use for the rest of my life ! :)

Imma Adopt a Lil Asian Bebe !! :D
Adoption is where some one takes a child that is not biologically theres in as their own, to raise and treat as if it was there own child. Adoption has been around for decades if not centuries, where people would take in their siblings or neighbors children if they are deceased, and now most people adopt when they can not have children of there own. But the process of adoption is very difficult, it takes any where from a couple of months (in special situations), to a number of years! So the how adoption is very vigorous and difficult at times, but in the end is always rewarding. So I have a few things I would like to change about it would be things like that adoption in your home country should be easier, the time should be lessened to adopt, more good eligible people should be able to adopt!Posted by Michael McNeil at 5:18 PM 0 comments

The Day the Music Died Review !
http://www.teenink.com/opinion/movies_music_tv/article/206127/The-Day-the-Music-Died/
The article I picked is titled "The Day the Music Died". I found it on the interwebs *cough* Teen Ink *cough* .com . It was written by Evely Nibarra. All the opening paragraph is, is a thesis, there is nothing else to it except for the thesis. The thesis is Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, and Pop, all types of music, are amazing beats and catchy tunes, but wh
at lies underneath all of the repeating rhythms and mainstream glamour?. The opening paragraph caught my attention because it asked a question that appealed to me, because I have noticed that a lot of popular songs nowadays don't really have much meaning to them. The article has eight paragraphs. All the paragraphs elaborate more on the thesis explaining some facts and the writers opinion. One example of this is "Take the Beattle’s for example; their songs helped people escape the terrors of the Vietnam War. When you heard their songs, you escaped the world’s troubles, momentarily. Now, flash forward to today! What are we providing for the future other than foul language and meaningless rhythms? Profanity is what this time in history will mean, lyrically, of course. "
This article is very good, but it doesn't provide any argument from the other side. It just brutally rips it apart and gives it no fight back. This article has convinced me of its argument, because it explains its self out and gives you lots of reason and examples, plus it probably help that i already agreed with the topic. The writer could have let the other side fight back so it would have more of an argument in it. A counter argument that they could have used would be the positive side for modern day music, and the argument could be "Some songs still do have lots of meaning!".
I found the ending very effective because it ended with a little mission and had you motivated to pursuit it. It was really well written didn't have any spelling mistakes that I picked up on. Overall I really liked this article because it was about something that i notice and was interested in and it helped that it was well written and was relatable!

How to be Ghetto!
Get a loud stereo system in your car. Play rap music as loud as you can. The greater the decibel level, the more ghetto. If it makes your car vibrate, that works. If it makes buildings around your car shake, even better.
Invest in a "grill". Grills are dental fittings that are silver, gold, or have "bling". You not only want people to notice your amazingly expensive smile, you want to blind them with i
Dress the part. Anything with the label Ecko, Sean John, or Apple Bottom work. Ghetto is not sloppy, make sure everything is neatly pressed, even if it is 3 sizes too big.
Wear chains around your neck. Make sure they are big. The more "bling" you have, the more ghetto you appear. For extra ghetto appeal, add a dollar sign charm.
Get inked. Tattoos of "RIP" along with a name, even a portrait of someone lost to the streets.
Learn the language. It's called ebonics. It's necessary to know how to communicate.
Buy some ghetto sneakers. Think along the lines of Air Force Ones. Ghetto is not cheap. Make sure the brand name is visible.
Pimp your ride. Invest at least twice as much as your car is worth in the rims, stereo system, and tinting. Install a DVD player in the back of your headrests, even if you don't have a backseat.

Finding Forrester Review
Finding Forrester is about Jamal, a 16 year old black boy who lives in a bad part of the Bronx. Jamal is a very intelligent young man but does not show it because none of his friends care, Jamal is also very good at basketball. One day Jamal is dared by his group of friends to sneak into the apartment of the creepy guy that lives up there, Jamal accepts the dare and sneaks up only to get caught by the man, and runs away but leaves his book bag behind. Jamal always kept his intelligent a secret until one day he is offered a scholarship to a high class private school in Manhattan, Jamal accepts the offer. After Jamal broke in the Apartment he develops a tough love friendship with the man who lives there. Near the end of the movie, Jamal's teachers believe that he copied a story he handed in and it jeopardizes his chances in staying at the Prep School.
Gus Van Sant has directed some of the best movies in the last decade and this one is no exception. Gus had made movies such as Milk and Good Will Hunting, both these movies like Finding Forrester deal with major conflicts and over coming huge obstacles in life to try to succeed.Although the movie doesn't have a lot of main characters the performances from Sean Conney and Rob Brown are outstanding. Plus the lesser characters played by Anna Paquin and Fahrid Murray Abraham really live an imprint on you and really help develop characters and conflicts.
Finding Forrester is pretty much one of those feel good movies where you get to see someone that almost never have a chance succeed in life.So you would think that the Message is "Never Give up" or something like "Everyone needs a Chance" but a I think that the message is more so "The Definition of Family". I believe this because throughout the movie you kind out that Jamal never really ever had a father figure and Forrester hasn't had much of a family since his brother left, and once these to meet up they're basically complete opposites, but as well all know opposites do connect. They form a strong bond because they both need something and they get what they need from each other, Jamal gets a father/mentor and Forrester gets a family. It also directs the message that family doesn't always have to be biological but can just be who is there for you and who you trust, support and love.
Overall Finding Forrester is a pretty good movie with a good message and good acting. It defiantly will be worth your time to watch.

An Education
An Education is a movie that I have wanted to see for a while. Its kind of one of those coming of age movies about being young, making desisions and the relizum of young love. Its set in London, during the 1960's.
Usually this kind of movie would appeal to me but for some reason this one did, I think it first appealed to me becasue I saw both the two main actors getting interveiwed on Jinny Fallon and I really like both of them, so I went and watched the movie trailer and read the review on line and really like it!
Another reason I chose this review is becase it summed up the movie really well, without giving it all away like other reviews did. Also i went in a little more depths about the plot and everything i really wanted to know before watching the movie to understand it a little better.
I Honously dont have a favorite kind of genre, but the movie's I like the most are always the ones that havbe it all like comedy, action, thrills, drama and some romance but not too much just enough. So if I got to chose a movie to do a reveiw on I probably do An Education becasue it has most of those things in it and if I did a reveiw on it that means that I get to see it !

Activities from allpoetry.com (Bonus)
We'll I think we all know that the sky's basic color is blue but the sky changes color all the time!! The sky is sometimes
a kind of pinkish, reddish or even purplish mix in the early morning or evening. It is also sometimes grey on rainy, gloomy days. And everybody know that the sky is black at night. So saying that the sky is blue isn't always true. When the Rain Falls
I absolutely love when it rains outside! I love the calm, and the serenity that you feel when its raining out. I love nothing more than to walk around in the rain in a shirt and shorts and just soak up the water and breath in the smell, which brings me into another thing I love about it the smell. The clean and pure smell that the rain always leaves just I think is one of the best smell ever! After it rains the world always looks so much nicer like it was rejuvenated ! :)

Heaven
Heaven has countless definitions of how it looks and what it is like. And everyone has their own opinion and this is mine.I think that heaven is a big field, full of lush green grass that goes up to your ankles, with beautiful trees surrounding it, that blow with the light breeze. And the sky is baby blue with soft clouds that are as light as a feather floating up above. And you can roam around careless and free in peace because you have absolutely nothing to fear, because after all this is heaven. Everything and everyone that ever died is up there and there only a shout away at all times so your never alone. That is what I think heaven is.

Bye Bye Edward :)
Buffy would be an amazing character to add to the "talented" cast. She would be basically the same as she was in her own show when it was on. Buffy will be a funny, happy, out going and strong woman in he early twenties that makes funny puns. She will have long dirty blond hair, lightly tanned skin and will have a beautiful face, and that brings me to the new thing, who she will be played by? We will ask none other than Sarah Michelle Gellar to reprise her role as Buffy.
We will bring Buffy to play in the movie by saying that she told that

I know you may think that this idea may not work but look at it this way. It would still bring in a lot of money, like all the Twilight fans and now Buffy fans would come see it, you could double the merchandising, now Team Edward, Jacob and Buffy shirts and not to mention all the toys that can be made! Also it would get a lot of buzz from people for probably being soo controversial because it doesn't follow the books and all, and that would give it a lot of publicity.
So if you want to add a character to any movie it be Buffy to Twilight. Whether it be to make the story line better, getting some new fans or to get some publicity. I think my way is the best way to go with the Twilight Franchise!
